What a great spoon! I absolutely love this spoon. Great Spoon/Scraper. Nice and solid, great wooden spoon with added benefit of straight edge for scraping. Just what I was looking for... My mother and I watch Food Network all the time and you always see the chefs using these. Do Not Buy This Spoon. Do not buy this spoon. Great design. I recently bought several wooden spoons and utensils. Pleased but Puzzled. I am very critical of the tools I use, and I ordered this spoon (along with its flat edged twin) based on a Cook's Illustrated review. Replacing my first love is a tough act to follow. I was beside myself when my favorite wooden spoon snapped while stirring my spaghetti sauce (it's very thick). Great Wood Spoon. I bought the whole wood collection. Great. Great spoon, is very big which I was not accustomed to, but is working wonderfully. Classy. Lovely piece of wood and fits the hand well.
Love this Spoon. This is my favorite spoon. Poor quality. A 1/3 inch split developed in the wood on the spoon's flat edge after about five uses(I hand wash and dry promptly). Excellent, high quality spoon. I love this spoon and I haven't experienced any of the issues that some other reviewers have. Great Spoon. If you're like me, you may keep your wooden spoons beyond when you really should replace them. Split after first use. After using this spoon for the first time, it split right down the middle while still in the soup pot! Don't waste your money! after about 4 uses, the spoon split in 2 places. Sturdy, Strong, and Long. This is a solid cooking spoon that is well worth it's price.
