In my opinion, Lasko is one of the best fans you can buy. This particular model is easy to assemble – 5-minutes and you’re done! I’m not real crazy about it being made with so much plastic, but I am delighted with this product overall! It replaces a Holmes 20″ Oscillating fan in our “Family Room” which almost burned down our house!
I’ve been really happy with this fan. In fact, it’s the only thing that gets me to sleep at night. I think it was a great deal.
This is a nice fan, well made, quite and moves a lot of air.The fan tilts back easily ad oscillation is smooth without vibrations. Nice benefit, it is manufactured in the USA. I really didn’t think of this fan as anything more than adequate and it had a rattle on high until it came time to clean it. I have never encountered an easier fan to disassemble, you don’t even need a screwdriver! The little plastic tabs that hold the front guard securely in place snap loose with minimal direct pressure towards the center of the fan. The blades and rear guard have plastic retainers that screw off and on with ease. Once I reassembled the fan and tightened the blade retainer just a little more than before disasembly, the rattle on the high setting disappeared completely. I run it without the guard when nobody is around for vastly improved airflow efficiency (the low setting without the guard puts almost as much wind as high with the guard on). Before somebody comes over the guard is easily re-installed in under a minute.
It was easy to put together. This is the second fan I have owned of this brand. It does the job I want it to do. What more could one ask for from a fan? When this one wears out I will buy another Lasko fan.
Lasko fan are certainly the best. Made in the US, this fan is certainly worth its price. The air flow even on the lowest speed is amazing, and it does have that common tacky, ghetto, or tenement look of other fans. Moreover is extremely simple to operate and assemble. My last parents owned a Lasko fan that lasted well over 25years, and donated it not because it wasn’t working, but because they wanted something more modern. Highly recommended.
I purchased this product for my mother, becuase she does not care so much for her air conditioner. She stated that the fan blows great air on low. She put it on high and got too cold. Bottom line she loves this product.
This three speed adjustable oscillating pedestal fan by Lasko is exactly the way it is advertised. The three speeds all operate smoothly and the fan gets the air circulating rather quickly. Setup is a breeze, the instructions are clear and there are no tools required for the setup. The price is right for what you get: my own fan is just about one year old now and it still works strong and hard to create good air flow. This wonderful fan also cools the room down on days when you can’t use an air conditioner or when you simply don’t want to use one. The fan can either oscillate or stand still blowing air constantly in one direction–and that’s great to have this choice. I usually let it oscillate to get the maximum amount of air flowing throughout the room. The head of the fan does tilt back just as they say it does; but I wouldn’t tilt it back all the way–it just doesn’t feel like it could stay that way too long without the risk of falling over. I could be wrong; but that’s the sense I get.
