Adorable urn oscillating fan, toasts my entire 750 sq foot apartment to 70-74 degrees inside when it’s in the single digits outside! Central heat rarely kicks on, and my heat bill has dropped dramatically. Loved it so much I bought one for both my daughter and my mother!

We’ve only had this heater for a couple days. I was looking for something that didn’t look like an ugly box, and I found this! Sure, its not really decorative, but it looks much nicer than most heaters. We bought this to off set our insane gas heating bill. Heres to hoping it works. It also has a couple timer settings on it. Press the timer button once, and it sets for one hour, twice sets it for 2 hours, pressing it three times sets it for 4 hours. If you press the timer button 4 times, it will set it for 7 hours. You can also choose which heat setting you want to set it at. From 60 to 85. This heater also has an oscillation mode.
After receiving a gas bills of around $250 for two months in a row (and I live in Houston, TX, not in some ultra-cold climate), I decided I needed to do something about the drafts in my house besides just turning up the heat. I researched a number of small electric heaters and finally decided on this one. I have now been using it for about 3 weeks, and even though I haven’t received my new gas bill, I am quite sure it will be substantially lower because I’ve been able to keep the house thermostat low while just using this heater to warm the room I’m in. Here is what I LOVE about this heater: * Design – it is nice to have something that it attractive sitting in your living room, rather than a plain white or silver tower. Plus, it’s fairly small and lightweight, and so it’s easy to take from room to room. * Thermostat – this is my absolute favorite part of it. I just set it to the temp I want my room kept, and it will turn itself on and off as needed. I use this in my bedroom at night…it’s wonderful! * Low/high – sometimes I just want a little heat near my feet while I’m working at my desk, and I don’t want to run it at full 1,500 watts, so it’s nice that it has a lower-energy 900 watt setting.
I have a home office on the north corner of the house and in the winter, it’s cold. We started buying heaters for it in the early fall and none of them worked. I bought the Lasko 6410 for looks more than anything else, fully expecting to return it. But it works. It warms the room, oscillates just as it should, and generally has restored my faith in manufactured products.
It came with a remote control but to be honest the remote makes a better door stop than a controller for the heater. There simply isn’t anything to it. No back lighting. The buttons have to be memorized if you need to use it in the dark. *like when you wake yourself up in the middle of the night because you set it to high. But Remote aside.. *not like you really need it anyway, I’d recommend this heater to anyone for an average sized room. For the price, ease of use and convenience of setting it up just about any place you want. I’m extremely happy with it. I gave it a 5* rating despite the uselessness *to me anyway, of the remote that came with it. Maybe a universal remote would work better if you have one..
