Got the fireplace 4 days earlier than scheduled. My husband put it together in about 20 minutes. Very easy to assemble and all pieces were in excellent shape. I live in Miami, so dont really need the heater very much, but i turned it on and the heat was instant and spread quickly. The fire is very realistic and the ember fire even more. It is not a large fireplace, but perfect for a medium sized wall. I set it up against a dividing wall in my family room and it really is a nice piece.

I originally purchased four smaller dimplex stoves for my large home and wanted to be sure when I purchased an electric fireplace it would be a Dimplex but did not have a big budget for one. When I found this one I was really excited that it was under 300 and it would fit perfectly in my living room. It shipped fast and was well packed. My son put it together in about 30 minutes. It also provides just the right amount of heat my my living room. the only thing that I could say about it that would be a negative at all would be that the Faux Flame does not look as real as my older Dimplex stoves and i am not sure why….but still very pretty.
We are so glad that we chose a Dimplex product. We bought a Dimplex woodstove looking product a couple of years ago and found it to be very good at heating the room we put it in. Prior to that our first purchase of an electric fireplace was made at one of the “box” stores. It does an adequate job but the heat is weak. What a difference with a Dimplex! We were so pleased with our first Dimplex that we bought a second. Dimplex is definitely Number One in electric fireplaces! I would recommend their products to everyone.
I ordered this fireplace and it was delivered in two days! I will say the directions weren’t exactly clear and it took my daughter and I longer to figure out the directions than to put the fireplace together. That’s not the fireplace’s fault, so I won’t take anything away from my high rating for this unit. It came in two good size boxes. One box is the fireplace unit, including the glass front. The other contained the bottom, two sides, front plate and mantel (already assembled), ready for final assembly. Fewer pieces than I thought, which was a pleasant surprise. The quality and color of the wood is awesome and looks great in my 14 x 20 den. The photos don’t do it justice and I didn’t realize how nice the size was until we put it together. The fireplace warms my room perfectly. The flames look very realistic. I love being able to turn the heat off and enjoy the flames without heat. For the price, and I did my shopping beforehand, I think it’s an excellent purchase. I would recommend this fireplace and love, love, love it! I will be buying another Dimplex fireplace, this time for my bedroom.
I ordered this Electric fireplace with free super shipping on a Sunday, and it was in my home Friday afternoon, only 5 days. It took 30 to 40 minutes to assemble. the directions where clear but where missing an obvious step to remove shipping strips on the metal firebox. Over all the Dimplex Fireplace is very close to real life. I and using it both as a decoration to hold the Speaker bar under my LED TV and as a supplement to keeping toasty on the chillier nights. Its serving both 100% An overall great deal for a great product. Anyone thinking about this purchase will feel confident and satisfied buying this Fireplace. Its well made and looks great!. If I needed a second unit this would be the one to buy again.
