Placed my order on a Monday evening, arrived same week on Wednesday, very impressed with delivery time. The heater is well constructed out of metal and very sturdy, I simply unpacked it and pluged it in, I live in a two bedroom apartment does an excellent job of heating the entire living and kitchen area and the hallway leading to the bedrooms, recommended it highly to other tennants do plan on purchasing two more.

I purchased this heater in March 2010. It has performed beyond my expectations. It completely heats my living room and hallway. During the week of Christmas 2010, the flame quit and that is very distressing as I really did enjoy the flames. But the heater is still cranking out the heat so I can live with that.
We got this stove as a Christmas gift this year. My husband and I were both VERY surprised at how nice it actually looks. The fire effect is very realistic for an electric unit, far more convincing than any other brands we have seen; as we have several friends with electric fireplaces and stoves made by different companies besides this one. I had researched Dimplex brand fireplaces before, and everything they claim is true…no other brand electric fireplace (at least that I have seen) really comes close to the realism that they have come up with in their units. Of course nothing will ever beat the look of real logs burning, but this is still great looking nonetheless. We use it in our 14×17 bedroom, and it warms the room up nicely, in fact TOO nicely, as we are usually sweating to death halfway through the night! We have an old, drafty Victorian house that has very little heat coming into the room at all, and this little guy does a great job. We are planning on getting a plug-in thermostat to go with it.
Just what the review’s title says, this heater is nice. It doesn’t take up a lot of space, the unit itself doesn’t get hot, the “flame” has a nice look, and it quickly throws off a lot of heat on the high setting (it has two settings: low and high). And, shipment only took a few days. Now, I’m ready for the colder weather. Bring it.
I bought this on sale for $116 with free shipping from Amazon, now it’s $130. I replaced the 60 watt bulb with a night light LED replacement, it’s current “barely there” flame reminds me of my coal fireplace in England. I also have a 4 watt and a 7 watt night light replacement so I can vary the “flame effect” to my mood. As for heating, it has no comparison. I have a 500 sq ft area to heat- it was 20 degrees and windy outside and 74 degrees inside. Truly worth the money. A definate good buy. And it’s lightweight so I can move it from room to room with virtually no effort. My cats absolutely love lying on their rug in the warm air flow.
I like this little heater very much. I have 2 of them. It warms you living room quickly and has really cut down you my utility bill. I recommend them to my friends
I purchased this for our rv when camping with electricity. Why use my propane when I am paying for electricity. It looks cute in our rv and puts out enough heat for our use.
