I really like this heater, has lots of functions and the remote is awesome. I use it under my desk at work, it’s great because I can place it further back and don’t have to get on my hands and knees to turn it on and off. I also really like the Oscillating feature.

This heater can bring the temperature up a few degrees within an hour or so, which is generally what I need. The ‘oscillation’ feature does indeed seem to help spread the heat and heat up the room uniformly. (The programmable thermostat is a nice feature too – I haven’t used it yet, but enjoy having the option.) And, I like the way this heater looks – kind of like an old vintage-y piece of stereo equipment. The remote control is what I bought this particular heater for, and it is truly awesome. I seem to recall other reviewers complaining about the remote being hard to use in the dark, etc. Not really. Nor is the fact that it does not indicate what mode you are in a big problem. Folks, there are only three modes! The device always starts in low, goes to high, then to the thermostat-setting mode! Furthermore, the heater sounds different in the low and high modes. It is not hard to use the remote, I assure you. (I do not own a TV, so I don’t run into the annoying remote issues that arise with this.) I understand the complaints that you have to reset your settings (mode & temperature if you use the thermostat setting) each time you turn the device on, but I don’t think this is a huge deal.
When my Mom visited I put this heater in her room. She just loved it, and commented on how much better it was than a larger heater I have. She loved the timer and the temperature contol. I love that it is sleek, stylish, compact and can easily be moved from room to room
i had this heater for 2 years. it heated up my entire 2 bedroom apartment (in SoCal). unfortunately, it died yesterday. i loved it so much, i tried to open it up and figure out what was wrong. well, that didn’t work, but after seeing what else is out there (and how much it costs!), i am buying another one. i love this heater.
This is a really great little heater. As a previous reviewer mentioned, I appreciate the remote, as I use the heater under my desk at work and don’t have to get down on my hands and needs to control it. It puts out plenty of heat and the auto temperature control feature works well. It is also a nice looking device. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.
I purchased one of these for my office and loved how quiet it was, so I moved it into the bedroom at night. When I moved my office to the basement, I realized I needed a little head (that oscillated) for my feet) and this immediately came to mind! The remote is GREAT and mades it really easy to us! It heats up quickly, but does not overheat. It also has a great sensory component in that it turns off if something is too close to front of it or to the back of it in order to prevent fire hazards. The motor can get a little louder at times, but I don’t realize it. I can get my work done just fine1 I highly recommend this heater to anyone looking for a quick fix! THe temperature gauge with backlit system on the top is also really nice!
