Oh happy day! My family loves old fashioned, real milk shakes. Wow! I, too, was hesitant about spending this much $$ to make milkshakes; however, the kids love to make shakes and the standard blender is hard for them to clean (not to mention the sharp blades). Durability is the key here. I got a deal on this one (clearance) but it's worth the full purchase price. Great kitchen Addition. This solid (and weighty) piece of equipment does a great job of mixing juices with powdered supplements, as well as ice cream drinks, etc. Gone in 60 Seconds. I looked at all of the machines listed on Amazon. Bad Design - The Empire State Mixer. Earth to Waring, Earth to Waring: Standard American kitchens are designed with 18" of clearance from the counter top to the bottom of the cabinets. Mixless Christmas. Our daughter loves fruit smoothies more than anything, so we ordered the Waring Drink Mixer for her for Christmas. Waring Retro Drink Mixer. This is the best kitchen item I have purchased in years. Summer savior. This drink mixer is a great thing to have in summer when it's hot, though I've also used it in winter. Works fine, could be better made for the price. My wife and I are happy with this mixer.
Great Milk Shakes. I have been wanting a good milkshake for over a decade but almost everyware they make milkshakes with syrup, I wanted a choclate shake made with choclate ice cream and milk only, now I can make my own. Ebony (chrome) looks great; makes perfect protein shakes. I was hesitant about spending over a hundred bucks on a mixer (I just wanted something to make protein shakes), but I'm really glad I got this.
