I purchased these bags and received generic bags. I contacted the seller and, citing a shipping error, they sent the correct Oreck bags. I originally rated the seller with 1 star. But they responded to my email and sent the correct product so quickly that I should have rated them with 5 stars. I’ll buy from them again. The way I see it, mistakes can happen. What separates a good seller from bad is whether or not I receive what I ordered at the agreed upon price. This seller delivered!

I was a bit unsure of ordering these bags as being advertised as “genuine” due to reading some reviews on other sellers that claimed they had “genuine” Oreck bags and sent plain generic type bags. I was very happy that this seller did indeed send original Oreck bags. The price can not be beat compared to buying from an Oreck dealer.

I hate bagless vaccuums and so I use an Oreck hyperallergenic vaccuum that has super easy to remove bags. I like these particular bags because they catch even the dust mite particles(.33 micron) which most bags just can’t catch because they just blow through the bag.(So incredidably tiny). These bags catch everything and are TRUE hepa filter bags which my allergist says I need to use for my asthma.
I got the genuine Oreck bags from this seller. They’re a good deal if you do get the genuine bags.

Some reviewers have complained about receiving generic bags when they ordered genunine bags. While I order generic bags for my Kenmore cleaner and have no complaints with them, I can’t comment to the effectiveness (or ineffectiveness) of generic Orecks, but if your funds are tight like many folks these days, every dollar counts, so check out the reviews and try them out. But as far as the switcheroo, ensure you are ordering the product you want, for many sellers sell both genuine and generic. Make sure the picture is that of genuine Oreck bags and make sure the description states “genuine” Oreck. If so, you have truly ordered genunine bags and should not accept generic replacements. Demand what you have paid for. Or if you are happy with the bags, request a credit for the difference in price. If you do not get satisfaction, report it to Amazon. You will get your money back. To avoid this possibility, consider ordering from Amazon, thru a seller fulfilled by Amazon, or only from the larger 3rd party sellers with many (hundreds or thousands) positive reviews. Amazon takes customer satisfaction very seriously. Any seller pissing off a bunch of customers will quickly disappear from Marketplace. So all in all, I have nothing but good to say about my purchase–best prices on the net and delivered right at my door. I always reorder when I put the last bag in the vaccuum.
