I purchased the XL model of this stand for my tree this year and it is great! I was hesitant at paying this much money for a tree stand, but it’s well worth it. Each year my wife and I would spend almost an hour fighting to get the tree straight by tightening screws. I placed the tree in this stand and within about 5 minutes the tree was held tight. It’s very easy to use and works great! Just be sure to buy an inexpensive lock to lock down the handle so it doesn’t get hit to release the tree. Well worth the money to save the hassle of getting up the tree and argueing with your wife! You will not be disappointed with this stand.

This is actually a Christmas present; however; I did test it out to see how easy it was to hold an object. Although it was a little scary when the “spring action” opened; the cable system worked well. Very impressed with the service I received from the seller when it took longer than expected to receive this item. Overall 4 stars out of 5 stars
This thing is incredible, it takes a job that’s normally 15 minutes to an hour and gets it done in 15 seconds. Get the XL though, it has a gauge for the water and can take a larger tree. If you want to take the headache out of your holidays this is the one thing you need to buy.
This is the best investment ever. A little pricey but well worth the expense. I am single and in past have had to wait for someone to help me stand and place my tree. I am completely independent with this stand. Just place the tree in the stand, hold, step on the pump and the cables tighten around the tree.
I have vivid memories as a child of my father swearing like a sailor…trying to get the christmas tree to stand up straight and not fall over. It easily took an hour for him to assemble the stand,place the tree on it and then argue with my mother over the fact that the tree wasnt straight! What a nightmare. I bought this stand 3 years ago and I must say I’m sure its saving marriages left and right! If my father had this stand, it is likely he would have stayed with my mother (well maybe… I tend to be overly optimistic). I am a 5’6 female who lives by herself. I can honestly say that for the past 3 years I have put up the tree all by myself with no ones assistance! No jokes. I get a 8 foot tree every year. All I have to do is put the tree inside the Krimmer,straighten the tree the way I like it, and then crank the handle with my foot until it tightens itself around the tree stump. This whole process takes about 45 seconds…and I am not joking! The person who made this must be making millions… This is a great investment and you’ll have it for years.
I have had this stand for the past 4 Christmases, and I would NEVER even consider any other tree stand. I am single and often have to put my tree up alone, having to crawl under the tree,tighten screws that hurt my hand, while trying to keep the tree straight. With this stand, I put the tree in, hold it at “straight” and pump the pedal a handfull of times. Done. It’s very sturdy…your tree will never tip over…and well made. If you get live trees, do yourself a favor and buy this stand.
