Hot Panini. This grill was a recent purchase after returning from a trip to Italy. And durable too! We have used this machine an average of twice a week for the past 9 months, and it still works beautifully. Panini Maker is a hit. My purchase of the Panini Maker was a wise choice. Krups panini maker. This is the second one I have purchased, this one as a gift. Oye no goood. I've had mine for over a year and the lid has always stuck, now the heating element doesn't work. GREAT GRILL! After reading the reviews I decided to buy this panini maker. Loved it until it unexpectedly died. It worked for a few months, and then I used it one day. It failed 3 weeks out of warranty. Like others who have the identical experience, our unit simply failed one day. PANINI PERFECTO. Undoubtedly, the Earl of Sandwich never dreamed of these mighty little morsels that have crossed the ocean from Italy and are now found here in bistros and take-outs. Lasted 2 weeks. I bought the Krups for my son at college.

Great gift! I received this Krups Panini grill for Christmas and absolutely love it! A must-have, but...... I would give it a 5-star rating, except for the fact that mine died after just over 1 year. I love this Panini Press! I just received the Krups Panini Press for Christmas. A life-altering appliance...in a very good way! How can I put it? I like it. I liked this product, but it is a little hard to clean since the plates do not detach. Pannini can press! This press works great. Mine also broke!!! If you leave it unattended for several minutes, it will burna fuse (like mine did this week), which Krups don't replace but I'm hopeful that I will be able to fix using the tips in the Waine,March 3, 2000 review. Krups -- How can a good company make such a bad product? I had a great review posted here on Amazon for my Krups panini grill. Worked for 1 week. worked for 1 weekany way to get money back? AWESOME!!!! I love this! It just stops working. I bought the Krups panini maker despite the reviews which mentioned it dies in a couple of months. Died mysteriously after using it twice. Makes wonderful panini. 2 Steaks, 7 minutes. I got my Krups grill for Christmas, I have wanted one for quite awhile. Krups never again. I bought this little gem last year after a trip to Italy, having developed a terrible panini jones. Mine just broke!!! I absolutely loved this panini press and used it at least several times per week (if not more! SAVE SOME MONEY AND GET THE BREADMAN. It does everything the Krups panini maker does. Disappointed at last. I purchased this panini grill for the office about a year ago. I've had mine for 5 years and its still going strong. I've love mine. Another dead soldier. after mine failed (I troubleshot it down to a little in-line thermal fuse-a 1 cent part if you can find it), I was amazed to see all the other failure reviews in this forum.

Cooks well but clumsy to clean. The Krups FDE312-75 sandwich grill heats up quickly and cooks very evenly. Mama Mia PANINI! This little machine has been an absolute TIMESAVER. Faulty product. Although I enjoyed the few times I used this grill, I had a bad experience when a screw unbolted and the hot lid came off the hinges and nearly burned me. An alternative.... I searched high and low for a sandwich press after my recent trip to Italy. The most used appliance in our kitchen! Several years ago we first had panini sandwiches at a French deli while on vacation. This is not supposed to be a disposable appliance. Mine gave up the ghost after about 10 months of very light use (maybe used 15 times). Panini maker. I really enjoy cooking with this panini maker. The best panini maker - and wedding/shower/birthday gift. We love this grill -- both for home use and as a gift for those occassions where a gift isn't terribly personal. Didn't last long. This turned us into panini addicts and then left us high and dry when it quit working after about 5 months of using it 2+ times per week. Fast griller for the impatient. My girlfriend and I just got this grill because like a lot of New Yorkers, we don't have a backyard, and we don't have a lot of time to spare in our lives.

OUTSTANDING PRODUCT. Shopped the market and compared this to many. Trips circuit breaker after 1 year. After paying over $100 for this unit (at Williams Sonoma) I am very dissapointed that the unit has failed after just over 1 year. Big Useless Chunk of Metal. No shut off switch?! I have had the Krups Panini Grill for several years but have not used it more than about a dozen times. One more dead grill... Just wanted to add one more statistic to the casualty list of sudden death syndrome of these grills. Sudden failure. Like others have mentioned--mine worked great until one day it worked no more---Krups obviously has a design flaw--I notice their website does not even mention the product anymore! Where does the grease go? The Grill is ok. Stops Working for No Apparent Reason. Great product until it unexpectedly stops working. Pretty good product. We bought this grill after reading a review in COOKS COUNTRY. Great. it works great. Ours died too. We used our beloved panini maker probably once a month or so for about a year, but it died without warning, and way too soon. Is this model supposed to be disposable? This machine has many genius features--the back flexi-coil that allows for even heating; the perfectly separated ridges that also cook evenly and make lovely sandwiches--but the one feature that is annoyingly unreliable would be the machine's ability to work for more than 6 or 8 months. Do not buy this - it breaks! This worked great. Broken after 7 months. Like so many others, it just up and stopped working (tonight) after 7 months. Italian sandwiches. A great addition to my kitchen! I bought a bunch of these as gifts for family members and one for myself. Panini Wonder Machine. This is a great product. Fantastic appliance but has short life span. This appliance is fantastic - does a great job and looks good too. An expensive piece of Junk. It worked great for about a month and then just quit. Great machine if can keep it working ... Sudden failure. We had a similar problem: After about four months of occasional use when it performed well, the grill suddenly stopped working. Sandwich Nirvana. A truly wonderful machine.
