Great Yogurt Maker, but watch out for the exploding top! While this makes perfectly wonderful yogurt, you have to watch out for the exploding top of the insert. LOOOVE it. Very well built and super convenient. Love this product. After 2 failures,I decided to follow the directions completely. Nothing like homemade. If you eat alot of yogurt, homemade is the only kind you should be eating. For the price it ought to have a thermostat. I admit that I didn't try it. 1 year later... I was initially VERY happy with my Yogourmet and even taking into consideration the reviews that said the thermometer breaks quickly (and mine did) was still quite pleased. Excellent Product and Price $$ I have used this yogurmet to make the bifidus yogurt (CBA) for about 2 months. Watch out for the 1-qt boom. We love our yogurt maker. Great for a large volume of plain yogurt. This made a nice creamy regular plain yogurt. Works well; make your own yogurt on the cheap! Love this yogurt maker!
Yogourmet Yogurt Maker. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before purchasing the Yogourmet Multi Electric Yogurt Maker with CBA Starter. Happy with my purchase. I was interested in making my own yogurt because I eat a lot of it and I enjoy "kitchen gadgets". Great alternative! If you eat a lot of yogurt, then this maker will help you save some $$ and avoid buying (and carrying) a lot of plastic containers, which is great for the environment. Super Easy. I had previously been using a yogurt incubator with 7 individual cups, and it is so nice to be able to make a half gallon of yogurt and be able to put the same container right into the refridgerator after 8 hours. A very happy yogurt maker here. I'm extremely pleased with the Yogourmet yogurt maker. Convenience size, consistent quality. This yogurt can make one half-gallon of yogurt - this was the main reason I purchased it. Excellent, consistently delicious yogurt! I travel to France for a month or so each year, and one of the things I miss greatly upon my return to the U. Easy way to make home made yogurt. I love this product. Fantastic. Works OK. I've only used this item once and didn't have very good results. Makes 2 qts at a time! Can't find any fault with it. Terrific. Easy to use. Great Product, but. After a lot of research into yogurt making and machines. Makes good yogurt - but you still have to work at it. I wanted to get a yogurt maker so that my daughter and I could have a ready supply of good-quality yogurt on hand at all times.
