Sometimes the design of something is so cool that I like using it to just get to see it work and this is one of those items. I can have one side up to dry one sweater or both sides up to dry 3 sweaters or put the sides down and slip clothing on just the bars or fold it very easily to store. I can not say enough good things about this dryer and even though we have a new house, I have been known to show this dryer before showing off the house. I am still blown away at how much it can hold and how light it is. I do use it inside so I can’t tell ya how it is in the wind. If you can’t tell, I think it is the best I’ve seen! This product works great, it folds down nicely for easy storage, portable so I can place it anywhere (even outside when it’s nice). Has held up to 15 sweatshirts at one time with no signs of becoming unstable!
this clothes rack works very well. we received it very quickly and are quite happy with this purchase.
I can see where this could be used in a house or apartment. The sides are adjustable so the shirts or pants don’t touch the ground which is nice. Very sturdy. Nice way to save money.
I ready the other reviews before I purchased. The stand arrived in a plastic bag in a cardboard box, undamaged and ready to be unfolded and used. There’s lots of hanging space – I hang a few tops to dry on hangers to better keep their shape – but there’s room for all the rest on the stand. Sometimes up to two loads fits on the stand. Sheets too – just drape them over – and you can set the wings up higher (above horizontal, so it’s in more of a “Y” position) to hold the sheets higher off the ground. I like this stand better than the ones my friends in Europe have because it has more hanging space below horizontal – theirs is just a horizontal surface with both wings folded out. This one has all that additional space below horizontal, plus the flat drying space which comes in handy for a sweater.
It took a little practice learning to load the rack to best advantage, especially the lower bars/lines, but I got the knack of it and can have it loaded up in minutes now. The spacing is really good, nothing actually touches, allowing ventilation to speed drying time, and also keeping any one item from sharing its dye color with a neighboring item. It’s also a bit taller than most of the other indoor dryers I researched, making it great for hanging larger items without them dragging. The shipping/packaging was also without problem – my dryer arrived quickly and intact – it was packaged in a heavy shrink wrap, then boxed. Of all household chores, I like doing laundry best, and this product just made laundry days even better.
We couldn’t find rack like this in stores, for some reason they only sell crappy wooden ones that break easily. This one is very sturdy and can fit a lot of clothes to dry, it’s also easy to fold it and store when it’s not used. I could fit almost 2 loads of whashing on it at once!
