We are using this heater to suppliment a 10X40X10′high insulated room in a barn. The other heaters are 3 electric panel heaters. We were absolutely amazed at how much more comfortable the room became with this tiny heater. Placed my order on a Monday evening, arrived same week on Wednesday, very impressed with delivery time. The heater is well constructed out of metal and very sturdy, I simply unpacked it and pluged it in, I live in a two bedroom apartment does an excellent job of heating the entire living and kitchen area and the hallway leading to the bedrooms, recommended it highly to other tennants do plan on purchasing two more. I bought these for a xmas party being held in my backyard. The arrival time was great, the unit is really great. It was so good and mobil it got a workout being moved here and there to as the party move from one area to the other. We had some friends come over in January for Super Bowl and turned it on and got in the spa. Our patio is up on a hill and wide open not sheltered and it still kept us warm in an area of about 10′ out in front, not a lot of real heat at rear or sides. Read more »

This heater is *not* designed to heat a whole room. Instead it is designed to heat the occupant of the room. It’s parabolic design provides a great deal of directed heat. From 8 to 10 feet away, the heater keeps a person comforfortably warm. We have a family room that sits on a concrete slab and has 3 outside walls… it’s difficult to heat the entire room even with radiators, baseboard heaters etc. and turning up the heat in the house makes the rest of the house too hot. I have an Iheater and the Dr. Heater and I like the Dr. Heater better. They are both good units but the Dr. Heater is smaller and easier to carry around from place to place if needed and the wheels underneath are spaced closer together thus easier to place on top of other units such as a speaker unit that is not in use or a large air purifier that I have thus not taking up any floor space if needed. It also blows heat out harder than the Iheater but in the end, I think they both kick out about the same amount of heat energy. The Dr. Heater is made of real wood also, where the Iheater and allot of others on the market have plastic shells. Keep in mind folks that these are just space heaters BUT they are more power efficient and do kick out a bit more heat than the other numerous space heaters that I have and I have quite a few unfortunately… I have found that they do heat very large areas by them selves but do take a while to bring it up to temperature but once there, they are pretty amazing for their portable size and the amount of wattage they use. We have another DeLonghi heater for my daughter’s room and needed a second heater for downstairs. We bought a cheaper one and it broke after 6 months and was really loud. Ended up buying this one to replace the cheap heater and wish I would have bought it in the first place. Read more »

If you are trying heat a small room, these units are excellent and the “appearance” of a log fire is absolutely amazing. With a heat output of approximately 5,100 BTU I am able to nicely heat insulated rooms of about 250 sq. ft. I live high in the Arizona mountains and it does get a bit cold. Read more »

Got the fireplace 4 days earlier than scheduled. My husband put it together in about 20 minutes. Very easy to assemble and all pieces were in excellent shape. I live in Miami, so dont really need the heater very much, but i turned it on and the heat was instant and spread quickly. The fire is very realistic and the ember fire even more. It is not a large fireplace, but perfect for a medium sized wall. I set it up against a dividing wall in my family room and it really is a nice piece. Read more »
